Notes
Recipe created by Dawn Jackson Blatner, RD, CSSD, LDN, for the California Table Grape Commission 1. Steamed lentils are sold in the produce department of most grocery stores. Canned lentils (rinsed & drained) can be substituted. 2. An English cucumber has a thinner skin & smaller seeds than traditional cucumbers. 3. Make this salad a complete meal by adding a grilled whole grain pita on the side.

ABOUT California TABLE GRAPES
Californians have been cultivating grapes for more than two centuries. Today, 99 percent of U.S. table grapes are produced in California's warm, dry climate that is ideal for grape growing. With 89 grape varieties grown, California grapes come in three colors—green, red, and black—and are in season from May through January.
