DIRECTIONS
Slice ham to desired thickness. Brown the ham steak in a preheated skillet over medium high heat, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the ham to warmed individual plates. Remove the skillet from the heat and pour in the white wine, being careful to protect your hands and face from the steam. Stir in the mango chutney and grapes and return to the stovetop. Simmer, stirring constantly until the chutney is melted and the grapes are just warmed through, about 1 minute. Drop the pieces of cold butter into the pan and stir until just melted. Pour the pan sauce over the ham steak and serve immediately.
Ingredients
1 cooked ham steak, about 1 pound.
1/2 cup white wine (or substitute orange juice)
3 tablespoons mango chutney (chop up any large pieces)
3/4 cup California seedless grapes, halved
2 tablespoons cold butter, cut into 4-6 pieces
